I actually took two new packs on this hunt. The Kuiu Icon 6000 and the Barney's Hunter. Both packs performed great. I was able to take the Kuiu pack as a carry on with my optics and other heavy, non threatening stuff. I also used the Kuiu pack as my daily hunting pack. We broke out the Barney's packs to get that moose to the canoe. Although we didn't have to pack the meat that far the pack carried 50# to 100# loads with no problems. You would have to experience the terrain in Alaska to understand it. There is nothing easy about it... Ed F
