Heres the bull I shot yesterday.
Hunted opening morning and heard an elk bugling, but the wind was wrong and I decided to back off that one and hunted elsewhere. I saw several elk and bumped at least one bull that I couldnt tell the size of. On the hike out I heard that same bull bugling again so decided to try for him the next morning.
I hiked back into the same area and didnt hear him bugling, but the wind was right so right at daylight I started slowly walking through the treees. I hadnt gone but maybe 50 yards and I saw a bull walking toward me at 50 yards and he had no idea I was there. He walked behind a bunch of trees and when he walked out at 30 yards I saw he was a six point and shot him. I hit him on the on shoulder and he dropped right on the spot.
Pretty good bull for a WY general tag.
