While I have not found a good antelope buck yet for myself, the wife did good on opening day. We looked over a pile of antelope including some other good bucks most people would shoot in a heartbeat. I guess this antelope would qualify as one worth waiting for. I had seen this buck a couple times earlier in the summer, and I knew if we could find him he'd be worth taking a look at. Pat took one look and said good enough. Not sure what he'd score, but I think he'll do alright. Anyway, its the biggest antelope buck for the wife and she's happy as can be with it. Made a great shot after a really good 1.5 mile stalk, 120 yards through both shoulders with a ruger #1 in 25/06 and old style nosler solid base bullets.

Good buck. Whare were you guys hunting (Area #)? I am in 43 this year (just north of Laramie) and it has been pretty difficult finding bucks. Too many people.
