Kenetrek Boots

10x or 12x alpha glass

Uh, hope you can return those.....and not for her sake.....

10x32 = 3.2 mm exit pupil. Oof! I'd compare to the 40 or 42s.
I got to test a few different binoculars at several types of light and low light( easy to do right now). between the 32 and 42 my eyes didn’t detect a difference (edit to say a difference that I thought mattered) at the time of testing

I didn’t get to try the 8/42 pures or els.

However weight in hand was pretty noticeable which a half pound was the difference. These would be for bow hunting mainly or to be used for long glassing session off a tripod or in a combo with a spotter. The weight and price of them is what sold me, as well as hand holding stability, of which the pures are amazing.

Realistically what I was looking for was nl pure 12’s which were my favorite but that price is now even more outta reach. Plus those junky diamondback 12x worked ok this season so

If I had the money I’d have two pairs of the NLs in 12X for glassing off a tripod and 8X for hunting in the timber.

But I don’t have the money, so I’ll keep slumming my SLCs.
Yeah I agree the 10x32 pures were amazing ergonomic and pretty light in the hand. The 12x42 were nicely balanced too
