If a landowner is kind enough to enroll HMA and the BLM parcel is shown within the boundary, why not just find another place to camp? Seems like the intent is pretty clear, yes you can probably find loop holes, but you could also try and find a place that's not as convenient but a lot more...
Just a couple thoughts. An undisturbed BLM or General Land Office monument will hold up as the corner 99.99% of the time. A monument set by a licensed surveyor will be nearly as good.
OnX and all other mapping software uses data provided by the BLM. It is a great tool, but it is not a exact...
I really enjoyed this. I personally feel this is the most important type of content hunt talk puts out. I think you guys made some really good points. Knowledge is power after all.
Let me know if I am wrong, but a fair percent of seasonal workers go on unemployment as job attached through the winter if they aren't in school?
And that's all seasonal job attached not just the one who got cut.
And I agree 100% that going at the system with a hatched will no doubt have...
That's a good point. I've been kicking around long enough to have some pretty historically reliable spots so I don't really do any dedicated scouting. That said those are pretty tightly heald and are off the table. I probably wouldn't even go with someone I just met into a unit I typically hunt.
Certainly. I would do it in a heart beat for a long time friend. I think this would be much more of a semi random situation along the lines of "that's a cool tag...I've always wanted to check that area out.. let's run in there for a couple nights and check it out."
Maybe I'm putting to...
Regardless of right or wrong the Wyoming NR wildressness outfitter regulation is in place.
The loop hole is going with a resident and some minor paper work. At this point in my life I enjoy going hunting for hunting sake and don't get supper hung up on shooting particularly when it's in...
I shoot once a week at an indoor range during the winter. I'll shoot everyother night or more in August. I usually don't shoot for more than 20 minutes. In the summer I might only shoot 10 arrows an evening.
If you were my best friend. I would say get a samick sage or equivalent with 30-35# limbs and learn to shoot and form good habits. If it's for you, get some heavier limbs and maybe a custom once you have shot a little. Starting too heavy will only be a struggle and at worst jack up your...
