You are totally ignorant how the globalist biologists hired by FWP want to outlaw hunting and support population and lifestyle controls. You somehow have this distorted view that more govt & more taxes by incompetent beurocrats will solve all are problems. You are living in a fantasy world. And...
Well, I used my Johnson heavy wool shirt, the jac shirt & the hooded jacket for my elk & mule deer hunt this Fall and I happen to believe it was worth the dough. The jac shirt really cuts the wind. If the wind & rain or snow is really bad, I wear a goretex drover's jacket I bought at my local...
Its taken me awhile, but went thru Bozeman about 5 weeks ago. In 2 years, the growth is incredible. Now, from 4 corners to main street downtown is decorating shops, women's clothes, blah blah blah. You can have it. Went in to Schnees for bino accessories. Great guys at the firearm area...
On my way to Montana for my hunt, and decided to do some sightseeing on the way. Am in Cody, and after seeing Jellystone decoded to take a day off and kill time in town. Went into a local sporting goods store and looked at some Sitka clothes. Only think I want is possibly heavy warm gloves...
Well, I thought I'd post the groups on my new Stainless BLR in .270. The 2 groups at 100 yards measure 1" exactly, the exact size of the black bullseye. The third group is at 300 yards and measures 2.5" at the narrowest and 5" at the widest.
I looked at the Trij but couldn't find a reticle I liked. I also looked at the NF. I ended up buying 4 Zeiss Conquest4 4-16x44 with the ZBi reticle. I really like the fact that you can either dial the trurret or just use the retiucle. The Zeiss IS kind of a pain in the ass for the parallax dial...
Ive killed a few between 10am and 2pm because of other hunters going to lunch back at the truck or home. They push the deer to me. And during the tail end of the rut the bucks are moving around during the day too. I never leave my spot. I get in an hour and 15 before daylight and sit through the...

Lead Sled's
6.5 Creedmore and all these "supposedly" great new calibers
Big corporations with crooked CEOs
Politicians from ANY party
All black Plastic stocks
New shooters that lack self...
The best advice I have heard, to keep you focused on your target and follow through has been from Ryan Kleckner. "Call your shot". In other words, if you are focused completely on the target and watching it til recoil moves your sight picture off the target, you will have excellent follow...
Zeiss torq specs are even lower. Zeiss says to torq the rings to 20-22 "/lbs. It is critical to have one of the torq wrenches. Fortunately my buddy down the road has one.
Desert Dog did a youtube video on scope installation. I think this guy is pretty knowledgable. I'm not as anal as he is, but as far as torqueing the rings, he was dead on. I recently went through a problem I had with a Browning BAR Safari. Though it might be the scope; a zeiss conquest4. Changed...
