Please get a copy of the NM Game and Fish Hunting laws and read it front to back, seven times. You can just go out and shoot animals without valid licenses, tags, seasons and quotas. F150 Payload question
First of all don't take any stranger's advice on this forum as safety/legal gospel. Echo what three other guy said about legality - those laws vary by state. My buddies double tow jetskis with a 5th wheel sometimes and they don't like it. Definitely upsets balance even with one tons and 5ers...- Chingon

F150 Payload question
I'd say hard no on an F150 unless you have the rare HDPP version. Payload is a red herring - basically a suggestion from OEM's to help you keep your headlights from pointing at the sky. All sorts of assumptions on load distribution with this number. Example - my F350 has nearly 4000lb payload...- Chingon

Tikka vs Bergara
Yes I did "proper" barrel break in with cleaning up to 20 rounds. I no longer do that because every custom rifle gunsmith I've spoken to says that is a waste of time. Never do it on my Tikkas and they print large single hole groups like Wind Gypsy posted. All rifle companies put out lemons, but... -

Just say no to Bergarbage. Ironically, a lemon Bergara that they wouldn't stand behind for their sub MOA "gurantee" is what drove me to buy my first Tikka. 6 Tikkas later and I'm loving the drama-free Tikka lifestyle. Plenty of others with experiences similar to mine here... -

Cabelas Euro HD (Meopta Meostar) vs Sig Zulu6 HDX IS

PSA - New Sig Sauer Zulu6 HDX Pro's Are Trash
I have only used the 16x42 HDX, and just purchased the 10x30 HDX so I don't have to fight with my son for them when we're out hunting. I haven't put those through the paces yet, but the 10's are legitimately able to glass from the truck moving from the highway. Not so much on bumpy dirt roads... -

+1 for "calculated BC's" being nearly worthless compared to ponying up for Applied Ballistics custom curves. My LRX was great with a brake from arrowhead. It was bored over since some of the brakes were too tight and interfered with the bullet to my understanding.- Chingon

Christensen Arms, what's the verdict?
"Proper" rifle break-in is largely a myth and will not impact the accuracy of a rifle. My guess is that most CA rifles shoot fine, but a LARGE percentage of them of lemons (with respect to other manufacturers). -

Did you actually test them side by side at a far field target? The 16 pros I have right now are easily the worst of the 3 pro models I have in my possession. Given the difference in quality between the 18’s perhaps you got a good pair of 16x50’s. I’d love for others to post up comparison images.
