Yeah I was planning on pulling my 38 type 9 next year after helping a buddy with his tag this year. Been waiting 14 years to do this hunt. Looks like i will be doing research for another unit. Not going to wait 4 more years. Bummer for the guys with type 1s this year. Sorry for the bad luck.
Got a call and was asked if applying as a party and 4 of the 5 guys applied however the 5th guy had an issue come up and can't go. Will that application be void since one of the party members didn't fill out an app?
Thanks
I thought the site says reissued will go on sale as close to 11am MT as allowed... I was purchasing every minute from 1045 till 1105... wth was I doing wrong?
Curious if there is any experience with the camp chef alpine stove vs the wall tent company or cylinder stove? Price tag is half the cost on the camp chef. Looking to put in a 15x17 wall tent.
I have a nu way 4000 propane but I don't believe that's going to do the trick for rifle season.
Thanks
Ben
Come up with some plans. A-D. Get there early, assess the pressure. Put it in your expectations that it will be busy. Its a blue collar hunt, expect to work for it. Take it all in every day. Every minute you are out of the truck or tent you are in the game. I packed in with horses 6 miles...
Land or misquitos...
Minnesota. My dad's out riding horse by Gunnison right now.. I told him to keep a look out... doesn't seem to be much for canvas tents for sale near me.
For the rifle it's a Fierce carbon rival 300wm. It's the lightest platform I've had and shot. Tonight I was able to put 180s and 205s under .75" with each 5 shot group. Focused more on my grip and trigger pull. Still believe I can be better. Looks like she's staying home with me. I also reset...
