My dad brought me up hunting and fishing. It was one of his greatest passions. He is 83 and has dementia and has not been able to hunt for more than 10 years. I so wish I could get out with him one more time.
I grew up and spent my first 50 years in Northern Colorado. Moved to Kentucky in 2021. I miss Colorado but my gosh my eyes got open. There is so much great things to discover in other parts of the country. You get so pigeon holed about going to the same rivers same mountains. Kentucky has...
My wife asked me when we were dating what my dream hunt was, I told her to hunt sheep. I cried because no one had ever asked me what my dream was. It was that emotional for me. I hope I can live that dream out some day as you did Big Fin!

Oregon is the bomb! I took a long trip out there one summer and all my friends said get ready for tree huger nation! I was shocked at atv, American flag flying, deer/elk heads on every wall and business, etc... It was amazed. I would have moved to Banden in a heart beat if I could!
Grew up Northern Front range. I 100% agree. I left for love 3 years ago after 50 years but I'll never go back and I planned on Wyoming or Northern New Mexico once I retired. Colorado has changed for the worse!
