I own two xbolts, one is standard and the other a long range mod with a 26 inch barrel. Both are in 300 wsm cal.
What brasses me off is the damn trigger, you can't seem to get the let off much below 3 lb, now for long range shooting that's a joke.

Gosh , it's hard for me to comprehend all this when in NZ the place is awash with game for free. No licence fees, free permits, even Victoria in OZ is halfway decent, but ya got to pay for a licence, from memory it's about 60 bucks, I don't need one on my own property but do if I hunt on public...
Got a hacksaw, 20, 18, or even 16 if that's what you want. Just make sure to set the drill right when enlarging the front hole. Actually I remember reading that no drill worked just as well.
Too many thumbs, anyway no one mentions Winchester, I find them to have best out of the box trigger,adjusts down to as light as you want. To me the trigger makes the rifle.
