20-22” 6.5 Creedmoore
Recommendations on a 20-22” 6.5 Creedmore with a threaded barrel. I have a couple of 24” but don’t want to mess with barrel work. Prefer a 20” . Don’t want to break the bank either -

2025-26 Season plans?
Should be hunting antelope in Wyoming and a 2nd or 3rd season mule deer tag in Colorado on my uncles place. Hopefully something in my home state of NV, but in a waiting period on a lot of critters. Might even go chase pheasants in South Dakota too- MaddH

I switched to Weatherby Select 163gr Hammers, so far I really like them -

I hate Accubond LR. Shot the 175gr in my28 Nosler and they wouldn’t expand on shots 250-350 yds. Left pencil size holes. I would look elsewhere -

My CA Mesa had a couple of issues at first with Nosler ammo. Got better after a couple of boxes. Switched to Weatherby Select ammo and works beautifully. 28 Nosler -

Point creep is a killer and keeps us all guessing. I bet some of those good units you could draw last year with lower points in the special will skyrocket this year. -
