Hunted on CO public lands in 2015 & 2017. Planning a trip again in 2019. Was wondering if the changes to CO's application fees & process had any noticeable impact on draw odds. I won't have a big pool of preference points built up. Does it make sense to consider a back plan? -

I too run the Kuiu Pro. I have the 5200 and 1850 packs, but have yet to test the 1850. I can say that the 5200 will work as a day pack, but not optimum. Boots and Blisters
Leukotape is my go to tape for heel hot spots. Will stick for 3-4 days even if you get wet. Flexible conforming to you shape. Also, suggest you find a good shoe shop that specializes in fitting. The heel cup can be shaped to better fit.- oldillini

Advice Sought - New Elk Rifle
I agree with the midsection thing, but at 61 it is getting harder. Having said that I have lost 15# this year. Soon to be at my "hunting" weight, which has come after some lifestyle changes. Eating habits have changed. Love for craft beer, not so much. -
