Last year, I posted about a camping/fishing trip with some old high school friends, a couple of them I had not seen or talked to in almost 40 years.
Well we had so much fun we decided to make it a yearly thing.
This year, because of the drought, we choose a different lake (one with water in it)...
I was excited to catch this Brookie in Rock Creek. Catch & release. I have fished this creek on and off for most of five decades and don't ever remember catching a brook trout.
Yea I know he's tiny, but this is a small creek, extra small with the current drought.
Dang Buzz, I caught some trout this weekend is a small creek that you could have used for bait.
I love taking smoked trout to a gathering of non fisherman and women.
What's that ?
Smoked trout, I made it myself.
No thanks, maybe I''l try it later.

Excellent trigger right out of the box, and lots of aftermarket parts if you want...

Well, do you think it's the early Gila rifle hunt (1/2 percent odds)
The second season Gila muzzleloader hunt (5-6% odds)
Or the none trophy, late muzzleloader...
I have an Accura MR.
I don't have much experience with other muzzleloaders, but I really like this gun.
It's light weight and handy. It shoulders and points like your favorite .22 rimfire.
It's reliable and accurate, mine shoots 2 1/2 " groups at 200 yards.
(note for Colorado, the "MR' model...
The only reason I see for any type of muzzle break is on a timed competition gun where getting off 2 accurate rounds in less than a quarter of a second makes a difference.
On a hunting rifle, is muzzle “Jump” really the problem, or is it recoil ?
If "Jump" is really the problem, it is...
