    My kids 08 running 140 gr accubond handloads has put down several elk (bulls and cows), a bunch of deer and an antelope. Its one of the youth models and I find myself reaching for it more than my manly rifles due to its light weight.

    So I just bought my son a Howa 1500 . 270 yesterday. It shoots great, about 1/2" group with the 140 gr nosler partitions I slapped together on a whim..no complaints there. But is there a way to take some of the slop out of the factory trigger, theres close to a half in of play in it.

    The sheep rut gets going good around the middle of the 1st week of Nov, youll start to see rams engaging ewes about the very end of Oct about the beginning of Nov you will see new rams showing up near ewe groups daily
