Maine Moose Draw Saturday

Anyone else in for Maine Saturday? I expect I’ll watch some of the live draw online.

Same. I can't remember how many I have but it's more than I should. Haven't drawn anything yet this year, might be a short season.

I am in as there is always the chance I will draw, again. I have my daughter listed as my sub-permittee this year though.

Any of you guys add up your convoluted points? I have not but my appl lists mine at an even 100. I forgot how long I’ve applied, maybe 20 years. Don’t expect to draw but I already got lucky in NH so Maine would be gravy.

Zim, I saw a lot more moose in Maine than I did on my NH hunt two years earlier. They were almost like deer here in West Virginia.

I'm sitting on the sidelines after drawing last year. My wife and about 8 other friends are in the draw, so hopefully someone pulls a tag. After drawing NH in 2014 and Maine in 2019 I may never draw a moose tag again.

My wife is in. I drew a cow tag in 2018 so Im still in the penalty box. That hunt was so much fun.

I drew a cow tag my very first year of applying off the alternate list. That was 2010 it's been crickets ever since. I'd sure like to get back up there someday. I have a friend who has drawn 3 bull tags in the last 15 or so years. Crazy good luck!!!!

If I ever draw I’ll likely scout/hunt but let my step-nephew, who happens to live in Lewiston, shoot my bull. Because he's such a good kid and calls me more than my 3 sons combined. And is learning hunting now via a friend out there. I got a stud on my NH hunt I'd not likely beat anyway. And no room for another mount that size. I will take at least half the meat though! I really cherished my last moose. Best game meat I ever had.

I hope you have those pants/shirt/hat stored away someplace safe just in case you draw another moose tag. They appear to be lucky .
