Drop Camps
Good post and good topic. I have gone on several drop hunts in several states. It is my preferred way of going if I'm not doing it on my own. Why you ask? Well, I'm not a road hunter, I like to go in deep. 2) I don't like being over run by ATV's.....so I like wilderness and roadless units... -

Thank you for the pics and the story. That is a nice bodied bull and it looks like you will be eating well this winter. I like the rack too. More stoke for this weekend, I'm hopping on a plane Thursday if they have any fuel left. Congrats on what must be a very rewarding and satisfying hunt... -

Hello from Colorado!

Not So Stupid Question(s)
Actually landing in Albuquergue, for both hunts. First is CO and second is NM. Both are muzzle tags. Primers also. So it might be best to set up my order before I fly. Cool to hear about the Williams Peep site. I don't want to piss off a CO game warden. GS 12 is that a Garmin? Cheers... -

First Question: I spend all this time getting my muzzle loader right and then have to actually get on a plane. 1st hunt is in CO, so loose powder only. Do I have to hope I can find some of the same out there? Can you ship Black Powder? I'm sure the Airlines will Freak. Primers also? Second... -
