Way to go ElkHntMD! I was up on that mountain last year visiting a friend (who runs the county park up there) and saw those hand fed cows. Didn't see any monster bulls like yours, though. Awsome bull!
I hunt that area and will be there one month from yesterday. Colorado is starting to get some decent snow. I don't know specifically what that area got from this last storm, but the mountains around here got 3" or so and down south they got 20" in places.

I'd like to kill and elk this year with my .35 Rem lever gun. The Hornaday Interlock is the only roundnose bullet I have been able to find for reloading. The only bullets I've reloaded with to this point are Nosler Partitions.
I've worked up a load that I like with a 200 grn Hordaday...
