Don K, thanks for the reply...Yes spending time with them is precious. My oldest son has been involved with baseball since t ball and summers are getting shorter. He also plays on a traveling team plays 60-70 games before hunting season. He is now 13 and will play traveling ball only this...
Yes, they should be back year after year. Of course, depending where you are at, predators play a big role also these days. We hunt a bench where the elk use it year after year during Sept. We had a wolf pack and a Grizzly on the same bench this last fall. Very few elk stayed around. Maybe this...
Yes, there are a lot of great hunts out there with great quality trophy animals. Just checking if there are any units/states that have a separate unit/season for a quality youth only. Such as New Mexico.
Looked at the MT. F and G website, and looks like the elk and deer app. packet is out and on there website. Just applied for WY. this morning now time to study MT.
Good Luck everyone..

Thanks, Randy11 and Don K.
I did notice the Blackfoot Clearwater tag for youth. But one tag offered..darn tough.
I am researching New Mexico as we speak. Pretty awesome youth hunts available. Wish more states would take a look at what New Mexico offers for youth. Looking at unit 15, Gila...
