    County Land Accessiblity

I drew a Montana Pronghorn tag this year and in the unit I drew, there is a small strip of county land that leads to an otherwise inaccessible piece of state land. I can not find any information at all about the access laws on county land. Does anyone have any idea of a place to start to find...

    Hd 333

Yeah that’s kind of what I figured I’m limited to close to Bozeman and everything seems to be pressured hard or limited deer population with few mature bucks.

    Hd 333

I was looking into hunting the north side of hd 333 for mule deer on the BMA and north side of national forest. I would be more than happy to shoot a doe and would rather shoot one than a small buck. Is the deer population in solid place? Is this going to be a waste of my time and should I focus...

    Elk in steep rocky country

This is my first real year of elk hunting and when hunting areas that are steep rocky scree should I be looking in the timbered valleys or up on the ridges? It seems like in most places ridges are the most places ridges are the places to be but with it being so rocky does that put elk lower or...

    Fishing Maui

Has anyone fished Maui in the Lahaina area? I'm going to be out there in March and just wondering if it would be worth it to bring my fly rod along. Anything helps.

    Hunting without a weapon

After moving to Bozeman and not being able to hunt for the last 3 months has been killing me so I just decided to take a little walk in the woods. Turned out to be one of the greatest experiences I’ve had out in the woods I hiked a steep ridge gaining about 1500 in elevation in about 3/4 of a...
