Slumberjack bounty 4500
I have the SLJ bounty 4500. I've used it for two years now and packed out an elk and several deer. The pack's maiden voyage was helping my buddy pack his bull out. Davis wall tents and Montana Canvass tents are both good quality tents and I don't think you will go wrong either way. Which rifle do I bring for Elk
Shot placement, in my opinion at least, is the most important thing when it comes to putting an elk down. I've killed plenty of elk with a .243 and a shot to the lungs. You can shoot an elk with a .338 but if it's a bad shot it's not going to be a quick and humane kill. So, with that being... -

Arrow/Broadhead Opinions
I know others will disagree but in my opinion stay as far away from mechanical broadheads as you can. I shot a javelina with a mechanical broadhead years ago and the blades not only did not open but prevented the arrow from penetrating. Ended up wounding but never killed or recovered the pig... -

Horse product question
I've never seen them before and call me old fashioned but I will stick to good ole regular shoes for my horses. Bino Harness with rangefinder ?
FHF gear is made by a guy in Bozeman MT that is a full time law enforcement officer. Since he has a full time job, FHF gear is done on the side instead of full time like most other brands. Just an FYI.- HuntMT16
