6.8 Western
I like the idea, needed/wanted something between 6.5 and 338 win mag for years...bought one. I do have a RMEF Kimber Mt. ascent in 7mm. But ive never even put a scope on it. I don't know why, but I can't bring myself to shoot it -

Harvest data is scaring me...
As a NR i have hunted 2 units in Idaho... 1 is sought after with higher success rate, the other lower success rate. I am 1 for 3 in the sought after and 2 for 2 in the area with lower success rate. I'm no expert, but it seems like effort trumps success rates
