Living in the same state as this guy, I can see another one impacted by the all one way or all another way disease. Over / Under Shot Guns - school me on proper choke set-up
I generally go IC first and modified 2nd for pheasants whether shooting steel or lead in my O/U. It's a bit of a compromise as I hunt areas where lead isn't and is legal. Often go from one the other but have the chance to switch at the truck first. Still have quite a bit of lead to burn up...- Bonasababy

Similar situation, albeit around 30-40 yards away. Nice buck dropped hard on a shot from my tree stand. Mostly behind some trees. How picky are you on public land when chasing whitetails
Needs to be a mature buck to shoot opening weekend, I like hunting enough I am in no hurry to put one down. Hunt every day of rifle if I can and enjoy our later MZ season too. Lots of hunters for the former, often find myself alone for MZ season.- Bonasababy

Lots of misinformed here. MN HAS used sharpshooters at times. They DO test all the deer shot--whether by hunters or sharpshooter. Those killed by sharpshooters--They CAN"T donate the meat until tests come back. They do at that time if the test is negative. The most aggressive culling...- Bonasababy

Hot off the press--in MN up against the SD border--CWD positive from hunter harvested deer. Hate to see these popping up where no other known positives are closeby--which is the case in both MN and SD--but I dont know if SD tests as much as MN does. Found this buck 5 days after opening day. We believe that the guy who emptied his auto loader in rapid fashion across the same clearcut I found him in was responsible.....in the open and right off a walkable firebreak...on opening morning. Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?
Not quite year end yet but if it was, keeping money in cash at any one time likely was a bad decision. Main retirement fund with a growth mix is up 30 percent for the year, the other one that for much of the year we had in 5 percent CD's is up just shy of 15 percent.- Bonasababy

Camo pant suggestions
Been wearing them for years. Standard camo jeans and insulated camo jeans. No good in wet weather of course but have worn them in snow with gaiters. Not real tough denim though, they get softer with wearing and washing and are very comfortable.- Bonasababy
