We don't have anything else in the pipeline right now. The response on Amazon has been very good so we're investigating what else we can do to get content up.
Also, thank you all for the reviews everyone here has left on the videos. It helps us a ton to have such high ratings. I don't know...
I brought my shotgun with me to college and took it out zero times my freshman year. Most dorms will have communal kitchens, but you'll want to take advantage of your meal plans as time will be a premium. One of my friends would occasionally bring like 10-15lbs of venison to keep in the (again...

Just found out this morning that Season 4 of Fresh Tracks cleared the approval process to go live on Amazon Prime Video!
Check it out here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07573NJC4/
You can also just to to Amazon.com and search for "Randy Newberg" or "Fresh Tracks hunting" and you should be able to...
Season 5, episodes 2 and 3, as well as all of season 4 are all awaiting Amazon approval. Unless they get kicked back to us, there should be some (or a bunch) of episodes up this week. Amazon claims 2-4 days to publish, and today was day 1.
This site is intended to be a place where new hunters can come to learn and ask for advice from more experienced hunters, and for everyone, regardless of experience level, to connect. It seems you don't like it on Hunt Talk. If that's the case, please move to another forum that better fits your...
There was a female hunter as part of the Hunt Talk Bear Hunt in season 4 of Fresh Tracks (https://youtu.be/4RHqYQZ7ACo) but so far no episodes have really focused on a female. It is on our list to do if we can find the right person and right story.
The episodes are still available for download through VHX (and soon Amazon, hopefully). (VHX link: http://randynewberg.vhx.tv/#buy)
Skipping the ads has a very minor negative impact on our ad revenue from YouTube, but not that much. I personally would prefer that you spend your time watching...
I'd be more okay with point systems if there was a cap for how many points you could accrue. Anywhere from 7 to 10 seems like a reasonable upper end to me.
My 2 cents:
I would be deterred if I was just starting out. I'm fortunate that I have a good number of points in a handful of states, but I'm only fortunate that I got in near the beginning of the pyramid-like scheme that are point systems. The outlook is bleak at best for new hunters and their...
That's me! Between school then work, I moved away about 9 years ago. Since then I've gone on an average of about 1 big hunt per year. Last year was the deer hunt you saw. This year I drew a highly coveted MT moose tag. Despite moving this past week and starting a new job tomorrow, I'm going to...
Flickr. Free account gives you 1TB of photo storage and will let you share your photos anywhere.
Google photos - they even have an easy way to sync photos from your phone. If you've got a gmail account, you don't even have to sign up for anything new. Not so sure how sharing to forums works...
I just moved out of Chapel Hill. From what I've seen, the Triangle is a really nice place to be. I enjoyed my two years in the area. If possible, take some time to go visit parts of town she'd potentially want to live. Housing in Durham proper is not going to be cheap but it might be worth it to...
