The way I'm interpreting is from Colorado stand point and different approach than warden occupation. But typically officer issues citation/arrest, "county attorney" chooses to prosecute it or not. County attorney does not ever see a case unless a charge is involved already, or if the officer...
If it was true that access would lead to more success that substantially, then much more people would already be going Randy Newburg's helicopter access to land locked lands method....
You all had me worried. Finally had my points go to zero, tree line elk finally did not point creep me this year!! That finishes my Colorado draw. Caribou, muzzy muley, bear, 1st rifle bull, and guiding new hunters 2nd season so far for this season. Now to wait for second draw, Wyoming and Arizona
Colorado bear draw has to be the most disappointing tag to draw. I've hunted in 7 different states in my life so far and Colorado bear is the most unexciting draw to pull
"a good one" in that it lasted 5 years.
If a company is famous for their warranty, then it isn't going to be famous for back country hunts. To it's credit it made it through one Alaska hunt and 5 years of mountain hunts.
I'll warranty it and put it back as a simple whitetail and prairie gun
how has no one said "hunting is conservation" yet?
I didnt hunt until i went to college for wildlife ecology. T11 but usually starts a good and balance conversation
Have newer Tikka T3X Roughtech in 300wsm. with the issued little brake and limbsaver, the recoil does not bother me. That said it was enough to break a Vortex Viper PST which I moved from my tikka t3x CTR in 6.5 creed. Was on there for 5 years no issue, after three shots on the wsm lost focus...
Nothing as accurate as going right to the state website source. Toprut just easier to quickly check. I guess here in Colorado I always assumed those" one of 29" situations may mean the ones who did not draw the tags put in for it as a second choice but drew their first choice? Or in some states...
Likely 1st elk. Should get 3rd deer and sept bear. Applied for everything else too. As a resident the other states get preference points this year, despite my low success in CO compared to others.
Not weather data, but this is the best resource I've found for predicting Shed hunts in CO/ winter ranges.
Colorado does a pretty through Herd Management plans split by DAU. Each DAU has multiple hunting units.
