Lonestar saved us a lot of work! I do think with three of us we could have packed the meat out in probably 3 heavier trips, but the hide would have been a no-go just on the bulk of it alone. I've thought several times about just how that could have fit on/in any pack.- YoungGun

Best upland gun dog breed?
I'm not sure you could go wrong either way. They live up to the name of being "Merry little hunters", both at home and in the field. Aside from wanting a front row seat to watch for birds and planes, she rides plenty fine in the vehicle.- YoungGun
