Hope the expo was good guys. It seems like its one of the more popular ones to attend, even though i am sure there are many who disagree with the SFW ideology concerning tags.
One year i will get over and check out an expo or two, but always too busy hunting to find time for it at the moment.
Palliative Care and Neurological Nurse.
People ask me why i am always squeezing 5 years worth of hunting and fishing into every year of my life, i tell them one day at my hospital will make you think long and hard about living for the moment, not for next year.
Thanks for the reminder...ive got my points, i will sit this one and keep accumulating, in too deep to do a late season hunt now, but eagerly anticipating a rut hunt at some stage in the next 5 years...i hope
Id jump off the ship in tanzania with a double and a rigby bolt gun, a backpack full of ammo and walk over to west africa, catch a few fish and sought through a few herds of elephant, buffalo, lion and spend some time on the spiral horns...
I don't smoke, so there would be no cigars, but i...
quarter it, hang it up if possible or cover it, and either spike camp nearby and sought it out in the morning or head back to camp for a snooze and get back in early the next morning and sought it out.
Photo's, gutting and quartering should only take a handful of minutes.
Carry outs late at...
I don't get any animals mounted any more, haven't for quite a while, but i think your mount looks as good a moose mount as i have seen. Super job and a great trophy.
Please post the pictures back up, it would be great to see the end results of your hard work. What you burnt and/or left behind is your business, if it is biodegradable then it will disappear and i am yet to see somebody pick up an empty rifle case for the sole reason because they simply didn't...
Thanks gerald, was an interesting read.
The dvd on the hunt for the spyder bull was interesting as well. With so many deer, and elk hunters around in that region i still find it quite hard to comprehend a bull could go unnoticed until he made it to 500 inches. No doubt it was taken on that...
You have given this hunt everything, i really like the adventure, effort and planning you guys have put in and no matter the end result it has read as a great time with great company.
Positive attitudes go a long way and you guys never seem to let the chip get you down.
Yes there certainly was, but not a single piece of evidence has surfaced from the years prior, i find that a little strange, especially as normally after a monster trophy dies pics and clips and tc images surface from different people. There has been nothing that i am aware of from this animal...
Hi guys,
I don't normally post these discussion type threads, but i have wondered for a while now about Utah's Spyder bull. I can't really find any answers to what i am searching for, so thought the HT members might have some information.
Has there ever been cast antlers, or past video...
Yes interested to read about this. There was a forum thread on another forum ages ago about this hunt. Surely there would be a few animals still running around if there is limited tags. They have plenty of capacity to breed quickly if they are in the right environment and there is modest...
Ok your getting sorted. Apply in AZ as well if you can afford it and build your points up.
You can go rifle hunting in South East Idaho as well pretty easily.
What units have you considered? I have guided for a few years down there and some good animals in certain areas if you can get off...
Filling the freezer there, great work.
What are you trying to do in september? There is plenty of options self guided, do your research, get tags, hire a car and go hunt self guided, can be arranged easily in a number of western states.
Sharp and crumbly mercy valley cheese, salami, quince paste, sun dried tomatoes, fetta, spinach dip and crackers and then i let the guys make their own choices. A could starter to a camp fire feed.
