Maybe a little? I like that it isn't as white as a sheet of paper. It's white, just not bright white. It's not yellow like some greasy bear skulls get.
They leave us too soon. I'm coming to the end of another lab myself. This will be the sixth time for me. Every one of them still brings a tear to my eye when I think of the times we had. Casey, Sally, Gabriel, Honky, and Diesel. God gave them to us, and we are so blessed to have them.
How cool would that be if Idaho had grizzly roadkill tags? You could get a life-size griz mount with a tire track over its back. Maybe even put the front of a car on a pedestal with it.
Zoom in and look at the yellow dogs messed up teeth. He's only three and I can't get him to stop diving for rocks. Big rocks, like the size of a volleyball.
Fella's...fella's....I can't be releasing classified information like that. That's how you get bashed for advertising someone's honey hole. They were alive at the time of pics, but who knows now. After reading this, there are probably four groups of hunters standing over their dead corpses...
I hate to ruin the Breaks bashing going on here and I agree with not giving up hunting areas, but I saw more than three 350 class bulls in the breaks this year. I don't even hunt there, my buddies showed me pics.
This goat nearly won. He was thirsty. He backed out but came back a couple hours later. I was pretty much out of sweat by that time but I got him. I had some old magnus two blades I wanted to use up, and damn they still work as good as they used to. He ran 100yds and tipped.
My 16 year old boy is showing me up. He had already passed on some spikes. Pulled him out of school because I new this bull was hitting a wallow. I can't pass an elk up so I was already tagged out on a raggy. I am so damned proud of this boy. He and the bull are beasts.
Just watche'd this hunt on YouTube and couldn't believe it. What I hope happened off camera was the bull was still alive so they backed out. If they didn't peak over the hill to glass for that bull before it got dark I hope they get a waste of game ticket or eat 300# of rotten meat. There is...
So true. If your bow isn't tuned your arrow has lost huge amounts of energy. It's not just an accuracy issue. It has no driving power because the ass end is not in-line with the broadhead.
I get what your saying but if you go cows only in overpopulated units the demand has to go to units that are at or below objective. This also gives outfitters a reason to help keep the cow numbers down or they will lose the chance to outfit. Demand is not going down and we don't want it to.
Very good point. I see where outfitters are getting $13k+ for a single bull. That's a big carrot. I do have the answer for cutting the demand. It's simple, but unpopular because it too takes the dollar out of the equation. The answer is to go cow only in over-objective units. Access would...
With the latest ruling against UPOM, FWP has really been given some leverage. Landowners now know that no matter how much they complain, they aren't going to get the tags to sell. They will have to work with FWP or I hope the elk eat the siding off their houses.
The dollar is the core to this entire issue. The dollar amount is zero. Recall from the video what the BM landowner said. He said back in the past you could go hunting anywhere you wanted. That's because no dollar amount was placed on game. Once outfitting and the commercialization of...
