I’m in the exact same boat. I’ve got 160 acres going into CREP here and am looking forward to having pheasants again, but we are overrun with coons. I could catch as many as I wanted but I’m not going through the work of skinning and fleshing them for free and it feels wrong to just throw them...
We were supposed to go to Ft Myers beach in 2 weeks. My mother-in-laws family has a condo there. That’s not happening anymore. Complete devastation. It’s only a matter of time when you build a city on a barrier island 5’ above sea level. Sad to see the pictures, though.
The draw odds will tell you everything you need to know about NM. Good luck. I drew a great tag my first year applying there. I’ve put in for mediocre tags for multiple species the last 8 years and have struck out across the board.

You could use your CO points to draw a good tag without a floatable River being a factor and then come hit WI or MN for whitetails with an OTC tag. Lots of water in these parts to explore.
Senior in high school. I had phy-ed first period and heard about it immediately afterwards while at my locker. Second period was study hall and, though administration ordered all TVs off, our study hall teacher kept the TV on. I’ll never forget seeing that second plane hit. At that point I knew...
This thing crossed my airspace last night while my family and I were sitting out on our porch. They were probably 50’ or so off the ground. Can I sue them? A giant balloon right above my head is way more intrusive than a pair of boots crossing a corner. For the record, I am happy to share my...
