It’s been a tough trapping trip so far. The weather has been warm with rain/sleet/slush. Not much has been moving but I did find a few cat tracks the day I set before it warmed up. How picky are you on public land when chasing whitetails
Not too picky with whitetails in MN when I hunt them on public or private. I purposely don’t set out trail cameras much before season. I don’t want to know what’s out there. I want to shoot a buck I’m happy with while I’m hunting and not second guess myself. Some years I find myself passing... -
Would you eat a CWD-positive animal?
Not a chance I’d knowingly eat or feed a CWD positive animal to my family. If prevalence gets so high that I can’t shoot a deer without CWD, I’ll switch to fishing and bird hunting full-time.- NoWiser

Is 'Useful electric snow blower" an oxymoron?
I’ve had great luck with the old Toro 2-cycle single stage snowblowers. They never take more than a pull or two to start, can handle that kind of snow, and can be had for cheap. Easy to load in the back of a truck by yourself, too.- NoWiser

I have zero problem going to a 4 fish limit in this state, but I also tend to agree that the impact will be minimal. I think the group it’ll affect most are those that have 50 walleyes already stockpiled in their freezer. It’ll be more trips to the lake for them.- NoWiser

Ford guys - 5.0 or 3.5 eco boost?
2016 3.5 here. 150k. The only thing I’ve done is spark plugs, shocks, and brakes. All easy to DIY. I do my own oil changes and spend extra on premium synthetic oil. Hoping to get at least another 100k on it.- NoWiser
