They do get a bit watery but it cooks out as you make it into pasta sauce. Or let it sit in the sink for half a day or so and most of the water disappears. Takes about 6 hours or so of simmering to get a big batch made. Just freeze them in freezer bags nothing fancy- Sask hunter

Nope just cut in half and freeze then when I had time thaw a couple bags out and run them through a tomato press- Sask hunter

This year I froze almost all our tomatoes half or quartered and have been making them into pasta sauce. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go back to store bought pasta sauce again- Sask hunter

Downloaded cards. Had this deer on camera in 2021 and hadn’t been back since. Now since looking closer it’s the same deer I passed up first or second day of season. Probably should have shot him as I have only seen him in daylight once on camera or person- Sask hunter

2024 Sask WT adventures
Pulled a couple cameras and my last blind today. This guy showed up once when my camera wasn’t sending pictures. Unfortunately I forgot to turn on my normal camera so it missed from November 21 on. Dropped some more bait to see who else survived the season. Still clinging to hope goofy shows back up- Sask hunter

Trapping Thread 2024/2025
Checked my snares a little slower than I hoped for. 2 coyotes out of 12 snares. One good one with mites and then shot a third on the way home. The shot one has some nice colour on it- Sask hunter

12 snares set on my coyote bait today and a fresh road kill fawn dropped off. Looks like I will need to bring a few more snares with me next time. I’m already looking to checking them in a few days lol- Sask hunter
