Wyoming Long Range Turkey with Centerfire Rifle?

100% correct. Holler at me if you know anyone wants help eradicating those nasty pests. I'd even cook and deliver a plate to the old girl she might be able to choke down.

Wyoming Long Range Turkey with Centerfire Rifle?

You can shoot them with a muzzleloading rifle in GA. Hardly anyone bothers. Pointless.

Wyoming Long Range Turkey with Centerfire Rifle?

If you have birds located you can probably find a killer to help you out. Many hardcore types fill all their tags before season ends and are jonesin' hard later in the season.

    Question About Hiring

Depends on where you are I guess. I've filed applications just because I didn't like their name. Would modified people rather work among modified or straight-laced?

    Hunting in Harmony?

I married a tomboy. The only issue is I learned to never tell her where a gobbler roosts. You wouldn't think a woman would go kill your turkey 2 weeks post partum but you'd be wrong. ."just go for a walk, baby. Get some fresh air. I'll watch the baby." Booom!

Anybody Buying Yet? Where’s the Bottom?

I just looked at my records. In single stock buying I have some amazing winners, but they are less than half. Which is to say my gambling is a net loss and may as well be blackjack. Glad it's all small time and probably worth the constant reminder that gambling is just for entertainment...

WIREHAIRED POINTING GRIFFON OR GERMAN WIREHAIRED POINTER? True Versatility

You can train a dog to hunt close with an e-collar. Just train it to come by tone or vibration. After you run its legs off coming back constantly it'll learn to hunt close. The reverse is not true.

    Burn boss indicted

I don't understand what happened with the general public that they so often indict on cases which are a waste of courts' time and budget. Ignore the law and do what's right.

    Rifle Cleaning Equipment Question

Looks good except I'd go plain steel rod to avoid abrasives becoming embedded in the coating and coating fouling the bore. The only reason.to clean a barrel down to bare metal is to restore accuracy. So only do so to do so.

What's your set up this year ?

People too often get so preoccupied with how far they can flop a gobbler, they forget the importance of style. The least gun is a 3.3# .410 which gets most of the work hereabouts. The big 20 goes on the road; all Yildiz guns, all handloads in solid brass.

    2024 Garden!

It's onion n tater time here, but it's also rain time. I'm always late waiting for the ground to dry enough to till.

    E-bike Access?

Same. The bikes and trailers were everywhere on two GA quota hunts last year. Turkey season is going to be a mess. I suspect since people can't find a lease at any price these days that they will spend that budget on ebikes to hunt public.

    Poached Bighorn

Looks like $60K to buy a bighorn legally these days.

Six Principles To Building A Great Dog

I don't see anything there about finding a cross that produces what you want to begin with. You can hold a pup by the paw and teach it everything or you can buy a cross that will survive your attempts at training because it can't help it.
