With a level. The plumbob thing would work if you know the gun is level. In my experience it’s easier to just level the gun, check the rings then level the scope. Not trying to be a douche. Just saying how I do it. -

I double up on ziplock bags. If I break that thing it will be because I go ass over teakettle down the side of a hill, not water. fwiw if I had to do over, I would get the mini. The only time I look at my actual inReach is to check the battery otherwise it’s in an outer pouch on my pack. Sad...- ZBB

POA/POI will be correct at the crosshair as long as you dial right regardless of power. If you have a mil reticle in a second focal plane scope, as you change the power, the reticle stays the same so the sub tensions change. A first focal plane the reticle size changes with the power so the... -
