thank you good luck to you as well check out Roes hunting resource you have to pay for onsite content but his YouTube videos are great he actually stops, explains what he’s doing while hunting. Why he’s sitting vs moving like real in depth reasoning plus he’s on a hunt it’s not diagram stuff...

    2021-2022 NV Big Game Guide

I know that 2017 was pretty wonderfully wet and I think calf and fawn recruitment in the last few years has shown it. It’s crazy weird this year because here in Elko at least it’s been bone dry at low elevations but most the mountains surrounding this area are 85% or better on snow pack. The...

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

I understand that as it sits it’s amended out. However it sounds like that’s the part MOGA truly wants and is not wanting it to go through as it sits. That leads me to believe they’re waiting for a last minute push of public approval as it sits, then try to slip the 40% back in? In others...

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

Ok so we’re not past the 40%. That’s what I thought.

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

Yeah I was under the impression this was still cutting the NR pool for the tags for the said early draw?

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

By requiring 40% NR tags to go to outfitting clients. That’s why I said a reasonable chance. Your forcing the hand of people and cutting a persons draw odds in half if they decide they don’t want an outfitter.

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

See maybe that’s the problem. Guiding is a service industry meaning competition is what controls the price. Outside of the essentials to run. Maybe create a little more competition between you and the guy next to you. Try this bring your price down even just $300 and provide the same if not...

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

Is that 8k with flight? Because when I’ve been to Montana on fishing trips and family Vacations ( I have not had the pleasure of hunting MT yet). But I spent well over $2500 just gas and groceries and that’s in MT because the way I look at it why would I bring that stuff and pay sales tax when...

Non-resident outfitter license (MT) Bill is up for hearing 2/2/2021 (SB 143)

So with this bill kind of in limbo, should I still be emailing house members about it? Or are they not concerned until it actually becomes part of their schedule? Just wondering what the best route is to continue to voice displeasure in hopes no one will allow it to be a part of their...

    Hello from Southern Indiana

I live in Nevada now but shot my first deer in Montgomery county IN when I was 11. My brother still lives there in the Crawfordsville area.

I'm not buying points for Colorado anymore, tell me I'm wrong.

I would say if u plan on doing any OTC in CO any time in the next three years then you’re going to have to have a license. If you get a license in your hand might as well have a point in your pocket. But if you’re plan is only CO draw units I’d say burn them and never get above three.

    Hello from Southern CA

Awesome remember you don’t need top of the line everything, most of my hiking back pack camping gear I get from my sister. She goes to the thrift shop in Truckee CA and I’ve ended up with some real quality stuff for $30 here 20$ there it’s crazy the stuff I’ve found through her. I think some...

    Point strategy for newbie

Oh wow really I’ll have to look at that for sure. Did not realize the tag would carry over like that but wouldn’t that mess with their harvest reporting and population estimate. I guess if it’s OTC then it’s at or above objective anyway.

    Point strategy for newbie

Roger I’ve looked at the OTC units left I think the year that I do go there I will make it my primary focus but with already buying point in AZ and CO plus my application for all of NV that’s all I feel I can financially justify at this point. When I do decide to try ID I’ll be all in right out...
