Not that I disagree with your post, but just wanted to point out that a lot of the most at risk don't benefit from self vaccinations, and rely on a vaccinated population.
I'm definitely no Vortex fan. I dont ever see myself choosing their gear for any of my use. But after seeing how well they took care of my dad, I totally get why they have their following.

The scope was a VX2, so I doubt they're going to sink much time in to repairing it. I have a feeling I'll be sent a new VX-freedom, which will go up for sale on here the day I get it in the mail.

It allows the parents to carry a weapon in order to participate in an already ongoing big game hunt (wolf, lion, bear, shoulder elk etc.), while with the youth.
In the past the adult wasn't allowed to be hunting at the time.
One thing that I have been thinking about since this thread popped up, is that it would sure be nice to use BMA as a bargaining chip with these landowners that are dealing with 'problem' elk.
