Tell Me which 22LR rifle to buy
I bought a B14 R barreled action and put it in an XLR chassis and replaced the trigger with a Trigger Tech Diamond. Shooting Center X ammo I can more than hold my own against the customs. Last match the Bergara was the only rifle to clean the 200 yd mover. These things flat out shoot. Second... -

Do You Sight In At 100, 200 or MPBR?
If it’s a set and forget scope, it gets a 200 yd zero. I can still check my zero at 100yds, because my velocity and drops have been verified, and I have accurate data on my rifle and load. Precision rifles with precision optics get set at 100. It just makes the math easier. -

An AR- Question
My 308 AR 10 doesn’t kick as much as my bolt gun, but it still kicks. There is a lot of reciprocating mass in an AR10 bolt and carrier. It’s takes a lot of tweaking and tuning to get it out and make the rifle run reliably. They’re a poor choice of hunting rifle IMO. A light AR10 is still heavy... -

How far for a 10" steel target?
Depends of how solid my firing position is, how much wind and how much time. 10yds with a pistol, less if the plate is angled down. -

Barnes 270/6.8 110 TSX
H322 and a 95 TTSX is money out of my 18" 6.8 SPC. My buddy shot quarter to quarter on a big Axis buck with that load. I killed several hogs and deer with it. I always wondered what that bullet would do in a .270 Win.- FLS

Just Bought A 41 Magnum Revolver, Anybody else shoot one?
Ive got 3: Ruger Blackhawk Ruber Bisley Hunter Smith and Wesson 657-3 Its by far my favorite revolver cartridge. I hunt with 210 Swift Aframes and plink with 210 cast. The 657 is the most accurate wheelgun I’ve ever shot. -

Shaft straightness necessity?
There isn’t a traditional archer alive that can honestly tell the difference between a properly spined.006 and and a properly spined .003 arrow. No one is drawing to the exact same length every time or releasing the arrows exactly the same every time. -

Are more people hunting with the rise in food costs?
I can walk out my front or back door and shoot a whitetail from Aug 15- Jan1. Those deer are very economical. Lots of good public land within an hours drive as well. Driving 30 hours one way to hunt antelope, mule deer or elk, not so much. Filling the freezer is a bonus, not the reason I hunt. -

Zeroing in Muzzy question
I would absolutely use the scope for load development and accuracy testing. Once you know your load is accurate, switch to open sights. I would put a rear peep on also. What Old/Odd Chamberings Have You Actually Used To Kill Big Game Animals ?
I’ve got a 6.5 Arisaka that came home as a war trophy the was sporterized by a favorite uncle. My oldest son killed his first buck with it.
