    The Other Football

To me it’s not really the other football it is THE football! Lifelong Juventus fan here. Thankful to have seen them play against Inter in Milan the spring before the pandemic. What an amazing experience the San Siro was during a game like that. Was absolute madness… Hoping the Azzurri pull off...

    It's that time again PA

I can think of lots of worst things to spend $20 on. I’m in again, don’t mind donating to the game commission.

    Wall Tent for Family Camping

Not really a wall tent, but I use my Kodiak canvas tent setup for both family camping and hunting purposes. Serves both purposes nicely IMO.

Options for trying on boots until you find one that fits...

We tried that... I just sent them a note to see if they would exchange for a 1/2 size bigger once they receive my return. Not sure yet if they will.

Options for trying on boots until you find one that fits...

Yep, there's a REI about an hour away, but the selection is not what you would find in, for example, the Bozeman REI that's for sure. Son just turned 17 so I figure new boots should last, hopefully anyway!

Options for trying on boots until you find one that fits...

Just purchased a pair of boots from goHUNT for my son, but unfortunately I had to return them since they were too tight for him in the toe box. He'd like to try some others, but it cost me $36 to return just that one pair. For those of you like me, that do not live anywhere near a place where...

    Moose in Montana

Try elk hunting without a moose tag in your pocket. It’s a great way to find multiple nice bull moose. Seems to work real well for me...

    Go hunt is lacking

I’ve had pretty good luck with them. Typically when I order something from them I get it within 3 days and I live on the east coast. Ordered a pair of boots this weekend, they shipped today and should be at my house by Thursday. That works for me. If something is out of stock, the site typically...

The story should have started as follows, “people can do some amazingly stupid things when their dogs are in trouble”

    Deer question montana

The most impactful change would be to can the rut segment of the season. It’s just plain stupid to have it...wouldn’t hurt to also cut the doe tag allocation by half at least... just my simple 2 cents

    Timber Ridge Tent

I don’t like that it’s not actually canvas. For roughly the same $ or just a bit more, you could get a Kodiak canvas tent which is a much better option IMO.

    Has Cabelas gone down hill?

Since the BassPro acquisition they have gone down the toilet IMO. It’s a shame really, they used to be great, now they are just about the worst option in terms of selection and pricing.

Yes, drew with 3 points in regular draw, but I see I got lucky since success was just 41% with 3 pts.

    Guided vs diy

Do what feels right for you. Personally, I would go DIY because that is what I love to do. I don’t enjoy hunting with a guide because hunting to me is a very personal experience in which success or failure is totally on me and success doesn’t necessarily mean filling a tag. I especially love the...
