Mathews Halon 32 - 29" draw length, 70 lbs. in Subalpine, - SOLD

I have a very lightly used Mathews Halon 32 for sale, 2017 vintage. It comes with a Black Gold Ascent Verdict four pin slider, and a Mathews six arrow quiver. I will also throw in 18 (at least 18) mostly new Easton FMJ arrows (a 340 and 300 spine mixture, most unshot). I haven't used this...

    2019 WY Sheep

Great ram! And nice write-up and pics. I love sheep hunting and hope to draw a Rocky Mountain one of these years. 38 years of applying in several states and still no tag for me and like you I just turned 50. Hope the tag gods shine on me soon but until then I enjoyed living vicariously...

Have you ever NOT felt like hunting?

Well to answer your original question, no I haven't ever felt like NOT hunting but I am also not in your situation and I feel for you. That's a tough deal but being outdoors/hunting/fishing/whatever is one place I go where I am in total control and it brings peace and helps me de-stress from...

    My dream has come true

Nice moose, congrats! Maybe I missed this but what state were you in? Looks like Utah maybe? No worries if you don't want to say. I shot one in Utah a few years ago and was amazed at the number of moose in the area I was hunting.

    A Dream Becomes Reality

Randy, Not sure how I missed this but congrats on your 'bou and moose. I'm doing the same hunt with Dustin next year and can only hope my hunt comes anywhere close to yours. I've hunted with Dustin several times and he's served me well every time. Glad you had such an incredible hunt and...

Divorce, do you ever see it coming...

Feel for all you guys out there going through it. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy and certainly not like you good folks. Hang in there with the belief that better days are ahead and they are! Just have to get through the difficult ones first.

Worst thing you've forgotten before a big hunt trip?

Went on a long weekend of bowhunting. Left my hunting boots sitting on my freezer in the garage. Spent three days hunting in my tennis shoes. In about 8 inches of snow. It was extremely not-awesome. :D

What’s the worst item you’ve lost?

Like an idiot, I used to carry my Swarovski SLC 10 x 40's on the floor board of my truck in the middle beneath the bench seat. Took the kids to the store and one of them must have swept the binos out the door with their feet when they exited the truck never to be seen again. Nobody's fault but...

What do you do with bear meat?

I like to make corned bear, bear pastrami, bear summer sausage and I also like to can it. I am very leery of cooking bear for jerky, burger, steaks or anything like that due to the trichinosis concerns.

6.5 PRC vs. 6.5 Creedmoor, aka the Superman Bun takes on the Man Bun

I'd go with the PRC if it was me. And I currently have a Creedomoor but am leaning toward getting a PRC mainly because I am a gun looney.
