    Would you shoot a cub ?

    While not quite cubs, I wish someone would come through my area and clean out a few young bears. There is just too many, the group eats more in an hour than I can carry in a day :eek:

    Thanks guys. IB, I didn't bother with sizing her up too much, but I'd say about 130-150 lbs. or so, live? Their pretty dang lean this time of year too, not much fat to speak of.

    Wow! Last Night

    I had six bears come in while I was on my stand...First, came a sow and 3 little cubs...very fun to watch. Then came in a small black boar and after him a decent brown boar who put on quite a show chasing the blackie around and setting off the camera and flash. Photos soon...

    I snapped this photo, I think it's from the previous night, but it sure looks decent next to my size 10 Danner. He only ate a little, but he moved stuff around. I wish I had my cam up from the start, but who new after 2 days I'd have a hit? Oh well, the trail cam is up now...we'll see what...

    Things are slow out here in the west...I had to snowshoe into my spot on Saturday, but I got 'er done. :p With all the snowstill around the poor hound guys are just driving around in circles:D
