I know this is a long shot..my teenage and I are about to head back East empty handed from an Idaho archery elk hunt..would love to bring some meat back. Does anyone have any private landowners that do trespass fees hunts in unit 23? I see they leftover tags..if I could find a place to hunt... -

Well..just had an amazing hunt. Didn’t get a shot..closest we got was 90 yards and I don’t shoot that far. It ended up being a huge herd of elk..best hunt of my life..stalked for 3-4 hours couldn’t get close enough to shoot. Wind was in our favor but we were trailing the elk and they finally... -

Thanks guys! Good luck to everyone! I’ve had friends get rocky Mtn tick fever from ticks here in TN..I hate ticks, I’ve been covered in seed ticks and several other species of ticks and spend days freaking out while sleeping that they’re still on me lol. -
