You're right, 2000fps minimum impact velocity is pretty steep. Keep in mind that expansion is a continuum and not binary-- even if 2000fps is the minimum, you aren't going to get a ton of performance at that threshold.

Not really sure you'd need to suppress it if you're already going subsonic. If you are already a Glock guy, I'd suggest the Glock 44. Same size as the 19 but polymer slide makes it much lighter. Alternatively, I might suggest the Ruger Wrangler revolver. The little FN 502 looks pretty sweet...
