Burn boss indicted
I have Burn Bossed hundreds of prescribed burns. Article said RH was at 16% in morning from weather station. I can not believe a Burn plan would be written with an RH low enough that it was in prescription of Burn plan at that. Hopefully it was though so he is still covered by operating in the...- jdf

Family Trip to Alaska - Let’s Talk
Id skip the haul rd drive with the family... Alot could go wrong on that road and leave you broke down and take alot more time. Drive South instead. Go to Seward on whale watch trip. Or go Valdez.. both pretty drive. Nice towns.. IMO I would also skip Fairbanks. Was a waste of day for us...- jdf

2024 dreams and plans
Wife wants to go back to Alaska in August 2024 for DIY Caribou. Then I am heading into Frank Church Wilderness for 15 days with Elk, Deer, and couple wolf tags. Couple buddies want to go Nebraska this spring chase turkeys so I may go too.- jdf

Throw this idea out there. My last pickup i bought was a used Chevy Duramax 2500 crew cab. 8 ft bed I put high rise cap on it. I will never ever own anything ever again without 8 ft bed.. Amazing to have a truck that can haul so much.. Especially plywood and 2x4s that fit with Tailgate...- jdf
