I get that, but I just don’t think it’s a “low” salary. Perhaps for risking your life at times with loaded firearms, yes. Just seems like a good gig for a young man (or woman) in their 20’s. 🤷🏼♂️- Big Sky Guy

I don't think it's unfair to require even a 12 hour check-in rule. Make people carry an inReach, it's 2023, not 2003. What about The Ohio State? Georgia losing to a one loss #8 Alabama is worse than OSU losing to #3 Michigan. Alabama losing to then #11 Texas is also a worse loss IMO. Would have been a great year to put 12 teams in.- Big Sky Guy

Another meat safety question. Elk not recovered for 24 hours.
One other thing, I use the 45-24 rule. Get the meat to 45F or cooler within 24 hours. Not sure if it meets FDA standards but it’s helped keep my mind at ease when I get an elk down I no longer think the meat is quickly spoiling. I agree with what everyone is posting, I would not eat the tenderloins but not because of safety concerns rather tastey concerns. Similar to issues with ecoli in the beef industry bacteria on the outside of whole meat will be killed when cooked, even if rare. Definitely would not grind the...- Big Sky Guy

Post-pandemic US GDP rate compared to G20 countries
Overlay that with rent or housing prices and I think that is at least 50% of the angst. 3% raise and housing has gone up 50-100% in similar time frame that math doesn’t add up when housing cost makes up such a large part of most peoples budgets.
