I can eat MH or Peak no problem at all and enjoy my fav's of each, I'm sure that could be mostly the environment at the time and not something I'd select to eat any other time.
As @Gerald Martin mentioned, the Gastro Gnome meals are definitely a step above MH and Peak, yes they cost a few bucks...

We've got two guys in our group whom have never harvested an elk, my no.1 goal is to be there to help and see the look on their face(s) when they walk up to their first harvested elk, priceless!

Strangely in late Aug. here its green, usually pretty dried up at this time with grass dormant, not this year. And early this morning between 4am-8am we got dumped on with 3.1" at my place.

Gear is sorted and ready, bow shooting is just routine now, meals planned & vac sealed, everything is ready, I could leave in 15mins if I had to. Physical conditioning is the only lacking area, luckily after a day of the shock...
