It’s not hard to put the resource first. Kind of mind boggling how we go round and round and nothing changes. The fact that many good ideas get shot down off the “budget” or where is the funding going to come from is frustrating as well. Or my favorite the social side of wildlife management...
To fix a problem mtfwp would have to admit there is a problem. Maybe the harvest stats of region 6 and 7 will slap them in the face and wake them up. Pick your region and nonresident caps are key to any successful plan. Call me radical.
Coffee guys usually show up at 9:30 AM 701 Main Street in miles city. I’m not hard to find. I assumed a certain group wouldn’t support taking the boot off the throat of mule deer, it appears I’m right.
Dualling proposals and I have have to say I support yours as well. Maybe I am just one of the guys that’s so desperate for a change I will take anything.
It looks like nonresident mule deer harvest exceeded residents again in region 7. The management needs to change but any change needs to include nonresident caps for region 6 and 7. The agency should have been on top of this. Very disappointing.
Huge win for region 7 when the mule deer are gone nonresidents can still come and shoot prairie dogs (hopefully), and maybe get a glimpse of an elusive bff.
