Essentially aimed at duplicating the 250 Savage in an AR platform.
Kimber made a bolt rifle in the 70s-80s based off the 222 Rem Mag.
Think 25-47, or 25-204 Ruger.
I was thinking of building an AR in 25-45 Sharps for coyote hunting.
Then I came to my senses and ordered a barrel for a bolt...
Has any of the "mainstream media" yet reported about Saudi Arabia putting an end to the US dollar as the only money of use to buy oil?
I've only seen 3 places ( that most people probably don't go to) that have done reports on it.
Dana Loesch ( I think that's the spelling) had a good...
If getting a Boyds, pay attention to the model action your ordering.
They will specify what screw spacing it is.
Order the right one, and your good to go without paying extra.
I used to own one of his (?) NULA 24B in 280 Rem.
Thing was super light, and super accurate!!
I hated, (still hate) selling it.
But I bought it specifically for a western hunt, that has not come to fruition yet.
Sold it for almost double what I paid for it.
Sightron SII and nylon sling...
For younglings, and versatility there are a couple i'd recommend .
First would be the 257 Roberts.
600 yard target, 400 yard deer, coyote, groundhog.
Not sure how far i'd poke at an elk with it, 100-200 yards Yeah, I'd go for it!
Light recoil.
All the ones I've seen have been plenty...
For PA white tail & a recoil shy daughter, I built a large ring Mauser in 7X57.
Using 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tips and RL17.
Has accounted for 3 deer so far.
Too light a trigger on a Ruger 77???
I think I saw Bigfoot once too...
It took the Wolfe spring set and honing on all 3 of my Ruger 77s to get them to where I like.
The 25-06 with the 24" light varmint barrel i could actually pick up by the trigger without it dry firing.
How heavy are your...
It's a Savage 110.
Beyond that the name only describes some of the add ons to it.
Go forth and shoot small groups!
I gotta ask...
You buy it, THEN ask for feedback on it?
Kinda cart, horse, isn't it?
I thought you were looking for another rifle.
Hence why i showed you this one.
Truly another masterpiece by p_ham that deserves a good home!!
And $2k for a custom rifle is really a HECK of a deal!!!
I've gotten 4 different E.R. Shaw barrels over the years.
For a hunting rifle, they do just fine.
One note I will make about Shaw barrels.
Their bluing is a thing of beauty!!!
