MT Poll: (R) Gianforte, (D) Busse, or (L) Leib.

When I go to these types of shops I use the no tip option. Why reward a tip for being able to walk to get a simple item and hand it to me. What makes the service they are paid to do so exceptional that it requires extra pay? Tipping has gotten out of hand, especially with the card readers. The...

    Shell holders for single shots?

I have used a similar shell holder when I was shooting my XP-100 7mm BR. They work very well you won't be disappointed.

    Moving to the South?

If you look to other communities in Montana You can find a better cost of living. Bozeman is crazy on home prices. Check out Great Falls it has a lower cost of living. It has good schools and medical. PLUS no smog it just kind of drifts away with the breeze. No joking aside it is in the middle...

S&W Stealth Hunter PC 44 mag

Looking at the condition of the gun, holster @ red dot sight. This is a fair price. If you are thinking of getting into handgun hunting this is a good one to start with. Pay once cry once. Unless you want to go with a 454, 460, 480, 475, 500 S&W or 500 Linebaugh. Then you will cry a bit more and...

Making a job change possibly...what would you do?

What's your wife's opinion on you changing jobs. Can she move and maintain her job or obtain a new job with the same compensation. How long until you can retire? Lots of questions to answer but I think with proper planning you can get to where you want.

    Long time coming.

Whether ML or any other firearm I always carry extra loads/rounds. My loading block holds 6 - 58cal prb or 6 - 50cal maxi balls depending on which rifle I carry. Plus a few more loose balls. Not much extra weight and my idea is a couple to many is better than one not enough. But that's just me.

Sighting in a 7mm-08 for the first time

True he said that but according to the Hornady site listing the 139 SST that is the only load with that bullet. So it could wrong but non the less he needs to shoot whichever load he has at 100 yards and go from there.

Sighting in a 7mm-08 for the first time

Putting in the Hornady 139 SST in the Superformance line in the ballistics program. The results show it 1 inch high at 100 yards with the 40 yard zero. It is 1 inch low at 200 yards. So again, verify your rifle at 100 yards. Good luck and pick your shot and take your time, don't rush the shot.
