    Ditching GoHunt

It’s $149 a year for GoHunt. You may be on a trial period but your renewal will be $149. You will be spending $100 more for those super long draw odds. You could invest that same 100 dollars with @Oak and have way better odds of actually getting your name drawn. But as you said you do...

    Big ol Burban?

Spend the day on it. Got the front end done with all the new parts. Just waiting on new calipers, I couldn’t get the new seals into the old ones. So for 43 dollars it was just easier buying reman AC Delco ones. Got the gas tank reinstalled and that fixed my low gas pressure problem...

Me too, I wonder how much I will miss that.

    Ditching GoHunt

I don’t disagree to a point, but like was said earlier in the thread it’s alot of data in one spot that most of us use. Seeing multiple years data on the same page is one of the things I liked. Not having 15 tabs open trying to figure out something. When you apply for multiple states that...

    Burris Eliminator 6

Buddy had one and we made fun of him nonstop for the brick on his rifle. He still missed his first chance at 250 yards. Waste of money unless you need comic relief in our circle.

    Long time coming.

I only carry 3. I’ve only ever needed more 1 time in 30 years of muzzleloading. Coincidentally it was on an elk that wouldn’t drop as well. Us eastern whitetail guys are used to one shot and it’s over with a muzzleloader.

I don’t know, those two were in there somewhere. I have dug and dug for bullets to never find them. They do weird stuff sometimes.

What bullet did you end up using, and were they recovered?

Drew my 1st Montana Speed Goat 🐐 Tag

Set it submerged in hot water for 20 min or so to softened the outer sheath. Then put your foot on the skull and pull while twisting the horn. It may take more soaking. Once the horn is off fill it with borax soap and let it dry for a week or so. Simmer the skull plate about a hour or...

Drew my 1st Montana Speed Goat 🐐 Tag

I hope you pulled the sheaths off and took the inside liner off the bone. If not that is really gonna smell in a day or so and rot away the outside horn sheath.

    Ditching GoHunt

Another huge pet peeve is the size of the offline maps I am required to download. Onx gives me several size/resolution options and GoHunt gives me one huge file option. Which means everything has to be done on WIFI or I go over into my restricted data plan. When you only need to know roads...

    Ditching GoHunt

I’ve been a loyal customer for several years and this year I think I’m done. While the draw data has been great the maps are driving me away. This year my buddy ran OnX and I used GoHunt. There were several issues on our hunt which led to a fearful visit from the Game Warden. His map...

    Big ol Burban?

Spent the morning painting the frame where the gas tank goes. After that tried getting the front put back together. Only made it about half way before I have to head for kids doctor appointments. The sheer amount of tools it takes to do front end work is impressive. Poor Chinese stud...
