Your absolute minimum distance for sighting in would be 50 yds. Ballistically speaking, that should be very close to a 200yd zero, but would still need confirmed at range.
A 25yd zero would net you a 300yd zero, again to be confirmed at range.
As to your original question, 8 rds is not...
I shot it enough to sight it in before it goes back to its owner. It was MOA with 165gr Fusions.
They're not my favorite lever, but they all seem to shoot well.
They're comfortable and light, the folding stock option is nice. Long action takes CIP length magazines. You'll have to use the spacers if you have a normal LOP.
It helps if your aperture is sized so that the inner circle of your front globe "touches" the whole way around.
You may be better off with a fiber front since you're used to archery sights already too.
