Congrats on the Bear. I also had some luck in SW Colorado in the San Juan NF. Got him Sept 13 with the muzzleloader. Shot was 32 yards and he only made it 3 until he piled up. Antelope...Lets See Them!!!
Montana 2009 This one is only a doe, but she was my first out of state big game animal. The memory of the spotting them from a mile away and stalking into 225 yards and placing a great shot on her will last a long time. Ethical ??? for everyone
I would harvest the animal. I have done so on 2 occasions during the WI 9 day gun season for whitetails. I am a die hard bowhunter but am in the woods taking some kids out.
