Thinking of switching from fixed blade to mechanical broadheads
I was always a mechanical naysayer. One day I was in Walmart and Rage BHs were on clearance. I've shot 2 antelope with them. The first one quartering away. It was so gross as the lope did a 30 yard death spiral, blood mist coming out the front, with all it guts falling out to boot. Done...- Dinkshooter

Lugging base camp into the backcountry...
I've killed Bool elk 3/4 mile from the road. Straight down from the road, cow face steep, mind you, but that close. Was the pack out fun? No, but not sure any worse than a 8 miles down hill or level. However, its a psychological trick, most will simply not hike down from the road.- Dinkshooter
